The Gasthof Alpenhof was opened on 26.12.1972 by Gasser Walter & Hilde with 5 guest rooms, restaurant and café. In the years that followed, numerous renovations and additions were made, such as the expansion of the second floor to 10 guest rooms, terrace, car park, covered parking space for motorbikes and the sauna area. A major renovation took place in 1996 and 1997, when the roof was completely renewed, the 2nd floor renovated and the 3rd floor added with an extension to 15 rooms and reclassification as Hotel Alpenhof***. In 1999 we redesigned the café and the house bar, in 2003 another extension with the construction of the ski room and the reception, in 2008 the restructuring of the first floor with two apartments and a double room and in 2011 the extension and enlargement of the sun terrace. In 2017 we rebuilt our sauna area and created the outdoor sauna area with sauna garden. In 2023, our Hotel Alpenhof will now be converted into the mountain residence alpenhof***, with a total of 8 apartments and one double room.
